Obésité avant grossesse avec prise de poids de plus de 15 kg augmente significativement les risques de: césarienne pour primipares et multipares, macrosomie, et (non-) allaitement à 10 semaines. Par contre, pas de différence entre prises de poids 7-11kg et prise de poids 11-15 kg. Conclusion (pas évident de comprendre d'où elle vient): il vaut mieux informer les femmes avant la grossesse qu'un bon indice de masse corporel est meilleur.
