This conference on October 18-20 2007 in London England will focus on creating political will to save the lives and improve the health of women, mothers and newborn babies around the world. Organized by a partnership of UN agencies, international NGOs and bilateral organizations, the conference marks the 20th anniversary of the Safe Motherhood Initiative.
